Philodendron Melanochrysum

Philodendron Melanochrysum

Philodendron Melanochrysum

The Philodendron Melanochrysum is a beautiful tropical plant that often doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Its leaves are dark green, with incredible veins. The surface of the leaves are soft and velvety to the touch.

Light: Best placed in a well-lit spot.

Soil: Any airy soil mix. Dense soil will cause root rot.

Water: When soil is dry. Do not allow this plant to sit in water as this will cause root rot.

Fertiliser: Feed every month (as long as the plant is actively growing and is not in its dormancy period).

Humidity: Can tolerate humidity as low as 60% but prefers to be kept at around 70+% humidity.

This plant is toxic, keep out of reach of pets and children.
