Make a contract with us
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on this website. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.
Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.
How to place an order
You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your basket. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time.
The buyer assumes responsibility for the goods being suitable for the purpose for which they are being purchased.
Carriage charges will be shown prior to you placing your order.
You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.
We use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal.
Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.
Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays.
Delivery & Carriage Charges
We dispatch goods Monday-Wednesday, in attempt to minimise transit times for all customers. We always aim to dispatch orders within the next Mon-Wednesday block, but orders may sometimes be dispatched up to 14 days after payment.
We will deliver goods within 2-3 working days of dispatch. Deliveries may be delayed by circumstances outside of our control.
Your order may arrive in more than one delivery.
We can currently deliver to anywhere within the United Kingdom, provided the address can be reached via Royal Mail shipping methods.
We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order. You must be at home to accept delivery of your order, which is between 7:30am and 10:00pm Monday-Friday.
Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility. We do our best to use sustainable packaging where possible.
If there is no one to accept the order on the scheduled delivery date the goods may be returned to us. We reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge. If you have failed to accept delivery of a plant order, we will not be held responsible for any damage caused to your plant.
If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery, if the carriers are able to make the change. This will delay your delivery. We will not be held responsible for any damage to plants caused by this delay.
If the goods are lost or damaged please report this to us within two working days from the delivery day.
Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control we may be prevented from delivering your goods as planned. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion or malicious damage. We are not responsible where this causes a delay or failure in delivering your goods.
Free delivery is available on orders where the goods cost more than £100.
We will offer a full refund (including return shipping) or replacement for any plants that arrive in a very poor condition due to transit damage. This refund is offered on the condition that the customer follows all of the instructions on our aftercare page. Failure to follow these instructions will render the offer of a refund null and void.
You must contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or via our contact page within 48 hours to start the return procedure. Images should be provided to show proof of damage, including the outer packaging. Images should show that the plant is still in its original pot and substrate, as per our aftercare instructions.
Once a return has been arranged, the plant should be shipped back to us still in its original pot and substrate.
We guarantee our customers that all plants we send will be happy and healthy. Our return policy is in place to ensure that guarantee is honoured in the unlikely circumstance that your plant arrives in a poor condition.
Please bare in mind that some transit shock is often unavoidable, especially with certain tropical plants. But should always arrive in such a condition that they can bounce back to full health given time.
However, it is the customers responsibility to care for their plant in an appropriate manner, we can not take responsibility for owner neglect or poor care. We will always attempt to point out any plants that are very difficult to care for in their product description.
We reserve the right to determine if an appropriate level of care has been provided before processing a return and/or refund.
Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service at our own discretion, for any reason, at any time.
